Ghana Graduates Conference

I am delighted to welcome you to the official website of the Ghana Graduates Conference. In  September 2010, we will be organizing the Second Ghana Graduates Conference in Accra, Ghana. The Second Ghana Graduates Conference (GGC 2010) is themed - "My  Dream for Ghana". The objective of GGC 2010 is to explore the contributions to socio-economic development in Ghana from the perspective of undergraduate and postgraduate scholars and/or scholars in the early years of their professional careers. It will be a place for discourse and debate on novel approaches to building a better Ghana.

These contributions will be based on sound scientific research principles which question existing solutions and develop new perspectives to build a better Ghana. Contributions will cover topics  on technology, business and society (health, policy and governance). This conference will be a gathering of young scholars, academia, industry and the community to examine ways in which graduate capabilities and competencies can support industry, governance and policy in Ghana. It will also scrutinise the challenges that will be faced in restructuring curricula to meet the evolving demands of industry in Ghana.

We will focus on outstanding young scholars who will stimulate thinking and maybe even touch a nerve or two in seeking solutions to build a better Ghana. It will include peer-reviewed papers, company presentations and panel discussions.

GGC 2010  will encourage open minds, critical thinking, self-examination, creativity, and sharing ideas. I invite you to join us and look forward to welcoming you to the Second Ghana Graduates Conference. We believe your invaluable experience and insight as the future leaders of Ghana will add to what is an invaluable discourse for Ghana, all Ghanaians and other developing nations.
